What Is ALT-Invest? At our core: ALT-Invest is an open source solutions consulting company that specializes heavily in SugarCRM and web based startups in the Southeast. For those that already have a startup or small business with working capital ALT-Invest provides technology consulting in the areas of but not limited to project management, quality assurance, security, and customer relationship management. Fostering an Entrepreneurial Community: ALT-Invest also invests in companies via sweat equity. Most startups only have one or two people and do not have the experience or expertise to do everything on their own. This is where we come in. ALT-Invest will work with you to fill in any experience gaps in exchange for equity in your startup. Our Software: During consulting, ALT-Invest discovers ways to streamline work and consulting engagements using custom software and script. As time permits we develop these scripts and software packages into products to be used by the community, most of which are free to use and open source. |
